JAMSHORO: Sindh Minister for Education Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq Sunday said that out of 7,000 closed schools 3,000 have been made functional while 6,000 teachers are being hired for the rest of the schools.

Talking to media during his visit to Sindh University Jamshoro where pre-entry test was underway, the Minister said 1,700 schools are still being used as ‘Autaqs’ by Waderas.

He said 7,700 schools were closed across the province when he took over the charge of his present post. He said 3,000 schools have been functional after appointment of teachers.
