ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Chaudhary Aitezaz Ahsan Thursday said he is not Sharifud Din Pirzadah or Malik Qayyum.

Talking to media after meeting President Asif Ali Zardari, he held the meeting in amicable atmosphere, adding they mulled over economy, politics and terrorism facing the country.

Responding a question regarding any potential change in his stance on National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), he said he is not Sharifud Din Pirzadah or Malik Qayyum adding whatever character he would have, it would be in the interest of nation and country.

Aitezaz said it would not be suitable to unfold the contents of the meetings, adding if the media was to be informed, the meeting would have taken place in front of media.

“however, the meeting was not about me or my office,” he clarified.

He said he may have more meetings with President Zardari in future.
