RAWALPINDI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Naheed Khan said that the President Asif Ali Zardari should differentiate friend from foe, and that the PPP workers reject the way party is being run.

Senator Safdar Abbasi says that a rift has been created between the leaders and workers of the party.

Naheed Khan and Safdar Abbasi expressed these views while talking to media here on Sunday.

Senator Abbasi said National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) is not the first law of its kind to have come before us. He said the present situation would have been avoided had the government ratified Article-270 AAA.

Abbasi said the President and the party is facing allegations because of NRO’s presentation in the Parliament without prior thought.
