ISLAMABAD: Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar Friday clarified that the President has not given any deadline for the repeal of notorious clauses of the Constitution.

Talking to Geo News here, Farhatullah Babar said the President has, on more than one occasion, talked about the abolition of disputed clauses from the Constition. He (President) has said both inside and outside the Parliament, he added.

He said the Parliamentary committee is working on the repeal of the disputed clauses and that the annulment can take place either before or after the month of March.
