NWFP govt mulling ban on explosives: Bashir Bilour


PESHAWAR: NWEP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour said NWFP government has proposed six months ban on supply of explosives used for minerals digging keeping in view rise in terror incidents.

Talking to media during a visit of intelligence agency office destroyed in yesterday’s attack, Bilour said foreign elements are using local hands to carry out terror activities in the country.

He said ban had been imposed on fertilizer in Malakand to prevent use of common items in local explosives and now proposal of six-month ban on explosives used for minerals digging is under consideration.
