NWFP govt to ensure security to educational institutions


PESHAWAR: Chief Minister NWFP, Amir Haider Khan Hoti has announced on Monday, that security will be provided to all the educational, international and welfare organizations in the province.

The CM was talking to the media during his visit to Government Higher secondary school no. 1, on the occasion of reopening of NWFP schools.

Hoti said that the terrorists intend to dispirit the law enforcement agencies and the people, and such approach only proves the terrorists as weak-minded and that the militants will fail to fulfill their objectives.

This government has equipped the police with better resources and modern equipment unlike the previous governments, CM Hoti said.

NWFP Chief Minister informed that 53,000 police personnel and 27,000 schools are operative in NWFP; therefore the school administrations should take safety measures on the basis of self-help.
