SRINAGAR: A separatist guerrillas hiding in a house was killed by security forces in a gunbattle that began early Saturday and continues in

City Sopore of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

“One of the terrorists has been killed so far and the shooting remains in the residential area of Sopore Chinkipora,” a senior police official told IANS. Sopore, 54 km from here, lies in northern Kashmir.

The shooting began early Saturday when his security forces terroristshiding inside a house to surrender, in which the militants resorted to indiscriminate firing, police said.
