PESHAWAR: FIR against unknown persons have been registered on charges of carrying out Sunday’s suicide attack in livestock market in Matni, an area located in the outskirts of Peshawar.

Peshawar police told Geo News that the attack killed 16 people including head of a local Lashkr and Nazim Awaizai Abdul Malik and injured 44 others.

The blast also caused severe damage to the market and parked vehicles, the police added.
