ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said he was arrested for the freedom of media, Geo News reported Thursday.

Addressing the National Assembly here, he said he rejected the recommendations regarding the restrictions on media put up by National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting.
