ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Saturday strongly condemned the terrorist attack at Pushtakhara, in the outskirts of Peshawar.

The two leaders expressed their deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives and said the government will speed up efforts to wipeout extremists and terrorists from the country.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Governors and Chief Ministers of the four provinces, PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Pervez Elahi, Amir Jamat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hasan, Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Liaquat Baloch also condemned the blast.

MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has appealed to the people and his party workers to donate blood for the injured of the blast.
