ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari had a telephonic conversation with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Saturday evening.
The two leaders exchanged views on provincial autonomy, 17th Amendment, 58-2B besides current political situation and expressed satisfaction over the talks held between the two parties in Abu Dhabi.
Earlier, Interior Minister Rehman Malik briefed the President on the PPP-MQM talks in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
In the talks the PPP was represented by Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza while the MQM was represented by Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ibad, Federal Minister Babar Ghauri and Muhammad Anwar.
