Sugar becomes rare commodity for public

KARACHI: Sugar became a rare commodity these days as common man has failed to get it even on higher rates.

Despite formal meetings and measures, sugar is still out of reach from the public across the country. The hoarders are doing what they want to do as sugar is hardly available at Rs. 60 to 80 per kilogram in the markets of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.

The provincial government of Sindh once again assured wholesalers that sugar mills will start providing sugar in couple of days.
