QUETTA: All private and government educational institutions in Balochistan remained closed for the second day on Tuesday, as the province continues to mourn education minister Shafiq Khan’s murder.
The education minister of Balochistan and PPP leader, Shafiq Ahmed Khan was shot to death by 2 assassins on Sunday evening near his house.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Aslam Raeesani called for three-day mourning in the province over the sad incident.
Persistent efforts are being made by the police to arrest Shafiq Khan’s murderers. Police have detained 8 suspects from different areas for investigations.
