NEW DELHI: A city court Saturday allowed a drug test in the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) leader Ghandy Kobad.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja allowed the exception of the Delhi police to conduct narco test on Ghandy.
Guidelines from the Court came after a medical panel submitted its report stating that Ghandy is able to be tested.
The court had asked last week a team of doctors from the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to determine the health status of Ghandy.
The police had moved an application for conducting the narco-analysis test on Ghandy saying he could not extract useful information as it was not cooperating.
